The 2 little sweethearts playing together. Aaliyah is still learning how to play "soft", it's not like wrestling with Daddy. We like to spread out in the living room and make messes.
Derek helped his brother Duss pack up his stuff and made the trek from Blue Bell country to Utah Valley. Duss took a marketing position with 'The Music School'. On the way Duss stashed some Whataburger ketchup packets, which are to die for, in his pockets and let's just say they didn't hold up as long as he'd hoped...little messy.
The boys trip was supposed to take about 23 hours, but their max speed was 55mph. They also ran into severe thunderstorms and a tornado-lottsa fun. How long did it take?
It took them 36 hours to get from Austin to Orem!!! Luckily, they had Duss' iPhone and navigated their way to a stop in New Mexico. That is where Duss fell in love with the shower curtain.
So, they stayed at some hotel in NM and Duss apparently couldn't get over the fact that the shower curtain curved. This kept the chilly air out and opened up the shower. When they were at Wal-mart a couple of days later they saw the curtain rod and had to get it. Duss installed and demo'd for the camera. He & Derek swear by it!!!
